Since those early days, the emphasis has been on quality, which has always been a cornerstone and has proven a major factor in the ongoing success of the business to this day.

In the 1980’s following a name change to Jones of Oswestry, relationships were cemented with a growing number of clients by providing excellent service and technical backing particularly with bespoke design solutions for a range of medium and large-scale projects in the private and public sectors.

Innovative Solutions

Since the 1960s Jones of Oswestry has developed several new product ranges and produced Europe’s very first Pressed Steel Galvanised Manhole Cover, typical of the ground-breaking innovation the company is known for.

The mid-1970’s saw the launch of the heavy-duty post galvanized SUPERLINTEL setting new standards of strength and durability with the introduction of the Ultra Galv process to achieve a minimum of 2000gms zinc coated finish.

The 1990s was a time of great change in manufacturing processes with the arrival of new technologies. As a business Jones of Oswestry remained at the forefront of the adoption of new technologies that were revolutionising manufacturing processes.

From computer-aided design to the adoption of CNC technologies efficiency, the business was able to successfully combine its emphasis on quality to consistently deliver to client expectations.
