97 Avenue Liverpool

Jones of Oswestry Arborslot Recessed Tree Surrounds installed at Anfield as part of the Anfield 97 memorial to the Hillsborough Victims

97 Avenue is the path and outside concourse area that runs outside the main stand at Liverpool F C from Walton Breck Road to Stanley Park.

Built in 2016 it forms part of the Anfield tribute to the Hillsborough victims and the clubs most successful manager, Bob Paisley.

It is one of the busiest areas outside Anfield, both on matchdays and even when Liverpool are not in action.

On matchdays fans typically gather to welcome the team bus to the stadium or to pay their respects to those impacted by Hillsborough at the memorial while there is also footfall from those travelling from Stanley Park to the stadium entrances.

Jones of Oswestry ARBORSLOT were specified as part of the design procedure of 97 Avenue allowing club supporters the opportunity to purchase granite tiles that could be set in to the ARBORSLOT.

Fabricated in mild or stainless steel the Jones of Oswestry ARBORSLOT incorporates a series of recessed trays for paving infill, allowing for the continuation of the paving up to the actual tree aperture whilst providing suitable aeration and drainage facilities to enable the tree to flourish.

Available in any size, to suit any type of infill, Jones of Oswestry ARBORSLOT have also been specified by Landscape Architects on numerous other projects due to their inherent strength and quality and Disability Discrimination Act features.
